Writer and activist Talatou Clèmentine Pacmogda, an Italian citizen born in Ivory Coast—where her Burkinabe parents had emigrated—and subsequently raised in Burkina Faso, was a guest of the Cooperativa Sociale Solidarietà e Sviluppo. She attended a training day for operators organized at their headquarters in Fornoli, within the Municipality of Bagni di Lucca. The morning began with a presentation on Burkina Faso by linguistic mediator Martina Bertolozzi, which provided insight into this West-Central African nation and delved into the figures of current leader Ibrahim Traoré and his inspiration, Thomas Sankara, who reignited a sense of belonging and pride among the local population. The training day concluded with a board game called Redizi, engaging all the Cooperative's operators.
